Council Tax 25 percent - single person discount

This form can be used to apply for a 25 percent discount when only one person is resident at an address.

A resident for Council Tax purposes is anyone aged 18 years or over who normally lives there. This means, if a resident is on holiday or temporarily working away from their home, they would normally be classed as a resident. If you have any doubts that this discount applies to you please contact the Revenues Section by:-

By completing this form I confirm that the information given is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that it is an offence under the Council Tax regulations for a person to knowingly provide false or misleading information. The fine for this offence is £1000. We may verify the information to confirm that you are the sole resident where the law permits it. You must notify us if any person over 18 years of age moves into this property or anyone resident at the property becomes 18.
